Your Newborn’s First Pediatrician Visit
Bringing home a new baby is exciting, and it comes with a lot of questions. Starfish Pediatrics in Baymeadows provides newborn care that starts with a first checkup within 3-5 days of birth, so your baby gets a strong start and you feel confident at home.
Our pediatric team offers help with breastfeeding, circumcision (up to 1 month), Jaundice, and baby sleep schedules, all in the office your family already trusts.

I have been bringing my son here for about 6 years, he is 10 now. We have never had an issue getting a same day appointment or waiting a long time in the waiting room. The doctors are great and the nurses are polite. I feel like they take a more natural approach rather than push antibiotics or other prescription medicines, which I appreciate.
I couldn't be happier with this clinic. Dr. Guzman and Dr. Maria are both amazing! They have seen my son since he was a few days old and now at almost 8 months he loves seeing both of them. They are gentle and take their time to talk with you and get to know your child. The assistants and office staff are always incredibly friendly too!
Always clean and We really love Dr. Maria and Dr. Guzman. Our son has been in their care since he was a week old. We're so happy we found them. They take their time with him and don't seem rushed when they come in the room.We ask all types of questions and they always make us feel secure.
